Terms & Conditions
By booking a session, purchasing a ticket or using this website, you are agreeing to these terms. I know nobody reads T&Cs for fun (I certainly don't), so I've written them as clearly as I possibly can. If anything is unclear, just get in touch, I'm always happy to talk it through.
ABOUT LOUMINOSITY
Who am I
Louminosity is a sole trader business offering sound bath and wellness experiences, operated by Louise Buck. We offer 1:1 sessions, private group bookings, community events and wellness experiences including The Zen Do. All services are provided in accordance with these terms.
BOOKINGS
How to book
Bookings can be made via the Louminosity website, by email or through our ticketing platform. A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received in full (or a deposit has been paid, where applicable) and you have received a written confirmation from Louminosity.
Booking confirmation
You will receive a booking confirmation by email once your payment has been processed. Please check your junk folder if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes. If you haven't received confirmation within 24 hours, please contact me at hello@louminosity.co.uk . It is your responsibility to ensure the booking details are correct.
Health check form
All clients are required to complete a Louminosity health check and waiver form before their first session. By completing this form you confirm that the information provided is accurate and up to date. It is your responsibility to inform Louminosity of any changes to your health or circumstances before subsequent sessions.
PAYMENTS
Payment methods
Louminosity accepts payment by card online (via Stripe or PayPal) and by bank transfer. Payment details will be provided at the time of booking. All prices are displayed in GBP (£).
Pricing
All prices are as listed on the Louminosity website at the time of booking. Louminosity reserves the right to change prices at any time, however, any price change will never apply to a booking that has already been confirmed and paid.
Deposits : Private group bookings and events
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date for private group bookings and some events. The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before the event date. If the balance is not received by this date, Louminosity reserves the right to release the booking. Deposit amounts will be confirmed at the time of enquiry.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Cancellation by you — 1:1 and community sessions
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible by emailing hello@louminosity.co.uk.
Cancellations made more than 7 days before your session: Free rescheduling may be possible.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of your session: non-refundable. We are unable to offer a refund or transfer at this stage as the space cannot be filled at short notice.
No-shows: non-refundable in all circumstances.
I know life happens, if something truly unavoidable comes up, please do get in touch and I will always do our best to find a fair solution.
Cancellation by you - Private group bookings
Cancellations must be received in writing via email hello@louminosity.co.uk
Deposits are non refundable under any circumstances
Bookings may be rescheduled subject to availability. Please contact me as early as possible if you need to change your date.
Cancellation by you - Ticketed events
Tickets are non transferable
No refunds are given
Cancellation by Louminosity
In the unlikely event that Louminosity needs to cancel a session or event due to illness, emergency or circumstances beyond our control, you will be offered a full refund or the option to rebook at no extra charge. I will always give as much notice as possible and will never cancel without good reason.
HEALTH, SAFETY AND PARTICIPATION
Complementary therapy disclaimer
Sound healing and all wellness services offered by Louminosity are complementary therapies. They are not a substitute for professional medical treatment, diagnosis or advice. If you have a health condition, please consult your GP or healthcare provider before attending. Louminosity does not diagnose, treat or cure any medical condition.
Your responsibility
By booking with Louminosity you confirm that you are in suitable health to participate. You accept responsibility for your own health, travel to sessions and events wellbeing and safety during sessions. If your health changes between booking and attending, please inform me before your session so we can ensure you are properly supported.
Punctuality
Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your session. Louminosity is unable to admit latecomers once a session has begun, out of respect for all participants. Late arrivals are non-refundable. For private group bookings, please communicate arrival details clearly to all guests in advance
Right to refuse entry
Louminosity reserves the right to refuse entry or ask anyone to leave if their behaviour is disruptive, disrespectful or poses a risk to others. No refund will be issued in these circumstances. This is a safe and welcoming space, and I intend to keep it that way.
Photography & Media
Photography, audio recording and video recording may be used for marketing and promotional purposes via the website, social media and products. If you prefer not to be featured, please do let me know prior to the session / event.
Your personal data
Louminosity collects and stores personal data including your name, contact details and health information solely for the purpose of providing our services safely. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except where required by law or to process your payment. Full details are in our Privacy Policy, available on the Louminosity website.
Intellectual property
All content on the Louminosity website, including text, images, logos, poetry and session materials is the property of Louminosity and may not be reproduced, copied or shared without prior written permission. This includes the poems written for Zen Do events, which are gifted to the group but remain the creative work of Louminosity.
Liability
Louminosity holds valid Public Liability Insurance. However, clients participate in all sessions and events at their own risk. Louminosity is not liable for any loss, injury, damage or adverse reaction.
I strongly recommend that clients with health conditions seek medical advice before attending.
Personal belongings
Louminosity accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings during sessions or events. Please leave valuables at home where possible.
Force majeure
Louminosity shall not be liable for any failure to deliver services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, illness, venue unavailability, or other events outside our control. In such cases I will always endeavour to reschedule.
GENERAL
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
Louminosity reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The most current version will always be published on our website. Changes do not affect bookings that have already been confirmed.
